Mindful Monday

Mondays may be, for some, the least favourite day of the week. For us, it's my 2nd most treasured day. It's the day we set aside to solely focus on actual, uninterrupted, sewing. This mornings job was to finish resizing a tulle bodice, filled with applique and beading. It's probably the most intense work but it's the most satisfying. Once we finished the bodice we had some work to do on the hem. Much less intense but still requires a steady hand and lots of measuring because once the plain tulle hem is cut there is no going back!

Mondays are also our day to reflect and refocus. You can usually hear the Sundays service playing in the background. (check it out, there so much good at mw.church ) There is never a time where we haven't been able to relisten, relearn, and reapply what is spoken.

Once 2:30 rolls around, It's time to head out to pick up the kiddos from school. Occasionally we will head back down to the studio to finish up a project before prepping dinner, after which we will spend time organizing our time for the week ahead.

What do your Monday's look like? I'd love to know.
